Vispi Shroff is the Managing Director of Avestan Consulting and incorporated the company in February 2010. Over the past year, Vispi has helped many companies survive and even shine through the tough economic climate faced in Ireland through the use of online marketing activities. Vispi has helped clients promote their businesses over the internet, making their website and their online presence become a steady source of new leads and income.
In the past, Vispi has been involved in projects which saved the company tens of thousands of euro in hardware investment through a solution which used the effective combination of hardware and software, to set up Quality Assurance and testing environments. In different parts of the administration of the office site, he has realised over 300% savings in time to carry several tasks such as payrolls, VAT returns, P35 returns, etc through the effective use of software and a robust use of online tools and applications.
Having come from a background in software development, with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement in processes, Vispi Shroff has several years of experiences in managing office sites and cross-functional teams and has been responsible for delivering numerous projects on time and within budgetary requirements. He also has a unique understanding of different cultures, having grown up in India, and having had to work closely with people from the United States as well as mainland EU & the UK.
Vispi Shroff is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration, giving him unique insights into the different parts of administering a business, be it creating a corporate strategy, managing people and organisation behaviour, setting up marketing strategies, creating and understanding the accounts of a company, carrying out cost analysis or managing change. He has also completed a Master's degree in Software Engineering and is a Certified ScrumMaster. He has brought to bear the lessons learned and the experience gained on all of his work. He also founded a company with a colleague and participated in several programs such as the 'Start your own business' course by the Limerick City Enterprise Board, and the Enterprise Start program at the Limerick Enterprise Acceleration Centre in the Limerick Institute of Technology.
